On Monday we welcomed four students from Germany who are here to learn Thai and English thanks to the Bildungsurlaub programme.
For those who don’t know, Bildungsurlaub allows employees in Germany to take educational leave from their jobs for up to 10 days. The aim of the programme is for them to improve their foreign language skills abroad.
Patong Language School is approved by a number of states to provide Bildungsurlaub courses. And what better location to take educational leave than Phuket?
Many of our students return each year and this week we welcomed back students Armin and Monika, who have both been coming to the school for a number of years now for our Bildungsurlaub Thai programme. It’s great to see them both again!
This week also sees two new students, Josef and Michael, taking English lessons as part of our Bildungsurlaub programme. We hope they enjoy the course!
