With the Vegetarian Festival still filling people’s stomachs and memory cards, you surely won’t be bored this weekend.
On Saturday and Sunday morning there will be huge processions in Phuket Town. If you haven’t seen any of the processions yet, this is your chance. Make sure you bring a camera! There will also be fire walking at Sapan Hin from around 8pm – get there early because it will be crowded.

If you’re in need of a bit of retail therapy, the Weekend Market (also known as Naka Market) is open on Saturday and Sunday nights. It’s Phuket’s biggest market and prices are cheap! A handful of stalls are closed for the Vegetarian Festival but there’s still more than enough to keep you busy browsing. The market is just off Chao Fa West Road, not far from Central Festival shopping mall. Click here to see a map.
