Thai visa regulations are constantly changing and this time it’s good news.
If you’re lucky enough to have a UK, US, Japanese, German, Canadian, French or Italian passport, you can now get a 30-day entry stamp when you enter Thailand at a land border – that’s double the number of days issued previously!
The visa exemption rules for the rest of us remain the same – 15 days by land and 30 days if you enter Thailand by air. If you want to stay for longer, you can apply for either a tourist visa or an ED visa before you come.
If you’re not sure if your country is on the list of countries eligible for the Tourist Visa Exemption scheme, check with your nearest Thai embassy or consulate.
