Have you been to Patong Beach lately? You might not recognise it!
Gone are the seemingly endless rows of beach chairs and umbrellas. Instead, the beach (along with many others in Phuket) has been restored to it’s former beauty, back to it’s natural state.
Don’t panic about getting sunburn – there are plenty of places to sit in the shade, now that the chairs have been removed.
Rent or buy a beach mat, grab some ice cold drinks from 7-Eleven and pop down to Patong Beach to see it for yourself!
