There’s plenty to do in Phuket this February!
- The annual Wat Chalong Fair is happening right now until Monday 23 February. Wat Chalong is Phuket’s most well-known temple and the fair is a big hit every year, with the temple grounds brimming with locals, tourists and plenty of stalls and entertainment.
- Chinese New Year falls on Thursday 19 February. If you’re in Phuket now, you will have no doubt seen many red Chinese lanterns decorating the streets and buildings. The best place to experience Chinese New Year is in Phuket Town (Phuket City) – be prepared for lots of firecrackers.
- The much-anticipated 16th annual Phuket Old Town Festival will be taking place from 26-28 February. This festival celebrates the Chinese New Year, as well as showcasing Phuket’s culture and history. There will be lots of mouth-watering food, local souvenirs and handmade goods, music, performances, and so much more! This is one festival you definitely don’t want to miss! Head to the Old Town in Phuket City and follow the crowds.
